Dan has lived in the Columbia River Gorge most of his life. Since childhood, his interests have always been technological devices and trends. Dan has been professionally in the limited energy and technology industries since 1996. Dan worked as a field installer and technician, systems engineer before deciding to start his own business adventure, ASET, Inc., with his working colleague and friend in 2007. Dan enjoys the outdoors, nature, and a good BBQ.
Adam has lived in the Gorge area for 29 years. He graduated from Columbia High School in White Salmon, Washington. He attended Perry Technical Institute and graduated with a degree in Telecommunications. He has enjoyed technology since his first VCR dissection when he was very young (sorry, mom). Since graduating from Perry Tech, he has worked as a field installer and a system designer. He spent time directing a limited energy department for a local electrical company before starting ASET, Inc. with his working colleague and friend in 2007. When Adam is not working, he likes to enjoy the Gorge's wonderful fishing holes and beautiful hiking areas. His goal is to continue to use his enthusiasm for the technology field to provide the best possible products and solutions for our clients.

I worked with Dan and Adam to come up with a total system that monitors for theft, employee effectiveness, and any unauthorized access. Recently I had a woman complain that she had fallen as she entered our restaurant. With my system, I could instantly review video of her family coming in the door and see there was no evidence of a fall, even though she insisted she had fallen.
When I told her that the camera had recorded her as she entered and that she had not fallen, she instantly turned white. I felt sorry for her son who was embarrassed about her behavior. I burned the activity in question to a CD and gave it to my insurance agent. I can log in from my lap tap, wherever I am, and see if there’s a problem, perhaps with an employee not doing their job, see if they need more help during a busy period and even check to see if the snow on the sidewalk needs shoveling! My system from ASET, Inc. has paid for its self many times over.”

As a new document destruction business, Gorge Security Shred has strict security requirements to achieve for NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) certification. Adam from ASET, Inc. was able to guide us through the process and work in a timely manner to meet our deadlines. The closed circuit camera and monitors, and security alarms are top quality, yet not out of line in cost. I’ll be working again with them on future projects. My insurance company first encouraged me to check into a video surveillance system. I have certainly been happy with the complete system ASET, Inc. installed at our restaurant, Spooky’s. Their service is very professional and I felt like I got a good deal. Now even if I am not on-site, I can check in and see what is happening. Recently a man had a heart attack at the restaurant. Even though I was not there, I could view and appraise the situation, then guide my staff to close down the restaurant, help keep things calm and make sure the that emergency responders had clear access. We can review claims of falls, attempted theft or any unusual happenings. It’s all recorded. I certainly recommend ASET, Inc."
